My name is Candace, and I am a Christian who has been saved by the grace of God.  I was homeschooled, and from a young age, I developed a love for sewing—starting at just 7 years old. What began as a simple skill soon became something much deeper.

 

Alongside sewing, I also grew a deep love for vintage clothing—the elegance, the femininity, and the timeless beauty found in styles of the past. I was drawn to how modesty was once so gracefully embraced, and it continues to inspire the way I design and create today.

Over the years, I noticed a common struggle among women in my church: finding clothing that is both beautiful and modest. Time and time again, I heard how difficult it was to find pieces that truly reflected their values.

After much thought and prayer, I felt led to do something about it.

I realised that sewing could be more than just a hobby—it could be a way to serve others.

And so, Virtuous Threads was born—a brand created to provide women and girls of all ages with modest, handmade clothing that reflects both elegance and godly values, with a touch of vintage charm. Each piece is thoughtfully made with care, intention, and love.
